Tàpies maß dem Buch als Medium eine besondere Bedeutung bei und erachtete es als eigenständige Kunstform. In Anular verwandelt die aufwändige Herstellungsprozess das Buch in ein wahrhaftiges, bibliophiles Kunstobjekt. Gedruckt auf Vélin Richard de Bas und auf Arches für den Einband.
