Description
A German Baroque-style mantelpiece clock, 19th century Magnificent clock with gilded mountings on four curved feet. The body, decorated with engraved brass inlays, is fully veneered with artificial tortoiseshell. The polished dial with enameled Roman numerals and scaled seconds as well as blued hands. The mechanism with suspended pendulum and strike on bell. The upper bow of the applique slightly detached, bumped in the lower area on the right side, some screws replaced. The winding key is included. Movement does not start, nevertheless very decorative. Height approx. 37 cm. Condition: II
