Two German chargers with depiction of the seasons, Ilsenburg foundry, circa 1880 Each large, different plates made of cast iron in fine relief with a bronzed surface. Figural and ornamental decoration around the rim, each with six monthly inscriptions from "JANUARY" to "JUNE" and from "JULY" to "DECEMBER". Profiled center with fruit bundle and surrounding putti. Each with rs. Hanging loop on the back. Beautiful workmanship and condition. Diameter 53 cm each, weight 5 kg each. Designed by Morel Ladeuil for the Elkington company in England in 1878 for the world exhibition in Paris. Condition: II
