Six Saxon/Thuringian lidded tankards, 1st half of the 19th century Cylindrical pewter tankards with strap handles on a flared foot. Different marks on the hinged lid, each dated. Two jugs from Dippoldiswalde, dated "1815" and "1842", with Johann Gottfried Böhme's and August Moritz Teichert's mark on the lid (base slightly cracked). An example from Penig with dedication inscription, Johann Christian Gottfried Richter's mark on the lid, dated "1840". A jug from Rochlitz, engraved with the Saxon coat of arms, dated "1811", Carl Moritz Damm's double mark on the lid. Also two jugs, each from Naumburg with master's mark "MMDI" (bird on a tower) and Altenburg in Thuringia with master's mark "IIF" (hat?). Height 24 - 28 cm. Condition: II
