Description

Six pewter bowls and platters, Augsburg and Nuremberg a.o., 17th/18th century Six pewter plates of different shapes. The smallest deep bowl from Augsburg, dated "1753" on the flared lip, master's mark Joseph Anton Tischers (1732) on the base. The larger bowl also from Augsburg, the lip dated "1774", on the opposite side master's mark Jacob Ruprecht (master before 1631), scratched in places. Two flat plates from Nuremberg with beautiful age patina. The plate with the smooth rim with master's mark Michael Christoph Wadels (1723), the plate with engraved edge with a Nuremberg mark 1727. Two wide plates with slightly stepped rims: one from Munich with Benedict Aichetswieser's mark of 1735, the other with a deeper base and profiled rim from Deggendorf with master's mark Johann Simon Petschner (1730). The surfaces somewhat scratched and stained. Diameter 26 - 40 cm. Condition: II
