Two Meissen porcelain plates with flowers and a swan plate, circa 1930 (two)/1990 (one) Porcelain. Magnificent plate in a mirror with flower painting. One plate with gilded flowers and rocailles in relief on the rim, underside with manufactory mark (1924 - 1934), painter's mark "229" and impressed mark "32", "Z98 A X". Diameter 27.5 cm. The other magnificent plate with strongly rising rim with cobalt blue ground and three golden rocaille cartouches with flower painting, underside with manufactory mark (1924 - 1934) and impressed mark "F1521", diameter 29 cm. A plate from the swan service, the mirror with a relief depiction of swans and cranes in a seascape, the rim worked in the form of waves, gilt rim, underside with blue manufactory mark, painter's number "999952" and impressed numbers "5506" and "51". Die Porträts waren wohl ursprünglich alle in zweiteilige Klapprahmen eingefasst. Lediglich solcher des Ehepaares sowie der des Kindes sind noch intakt und vollständig vorhanden. Diese je aufwändig verziert mit reicher Blindprägung auf Deckeln. - In den Rändern oxidiert. Teils fleckig. Collection of six early daguerrotypes with portraits. Around 1860. Each decoratively framed under glass (unopened), some with decorative borders. - Includes a portrait of a married couple, on two plates and framed as a diptych. Also three male portraits and that of a young child. The portraits were probably all originally framed in two-part hinged frames. Only those of the couple and the child are still intact and complete. These each elaborately decorated with rich blind embossing on covers. - Oxidized in the margins. Partly spotted.
