A porcelain bridal couple, Ernst-August-Leuteritz, 1882 (design), Meissen, 1860 - 1924 (finish) Porcelain, painted in color, painted gold. On a rocaille base. Flowers slightly chipped. The underside with sword mark, painter's mark "49", impressed mark "43" and "10" and incised mark "N104". Veil, tips of the clothing chipped, fingers of the lady's left hand restored. Height 26 cm. Choice, incised, embossed and brush-marked, mounted in two parts, footed amphora form with two coiling pairs of snakes as handles, richly decorated with gilt-bronze and bright gold relief ornaments and floral bouquets on both sides in fine polychrome overglaze painting, one snake restored, the other vase with a hairline colour mark over a bouquet, otherwise good condition for age, h 38 and 39 cm.
