Der Text selbst, der in 58 Überschriften ("Capitoli") gegliedert ist, gibt einen faszinierenden Einblick in das Ideal der Erziehung eines Edelmannes. - Durchgehend fleckig. Insgesamt wohlerhalten. Founded in the mid-16th century, the academy was forced to close in the mid-18th century. A few years after the publication of this rare guide, no less a figure than Bartolomeo Cesi was appointed drawing teacher at the Accademia, and later one of the most learned women of all time, Christina Roccati (1732-1797), joined the teaching staff. The text itself, divided into 58 headings ("capitoli"), provides a fascinating insight into the ideal of a nobleman's education. - Spotting throughout. Overall well preserved.
