A Gabonese/Cameroonian/Malian reliquary lid with figure attachment and mask, Fang Ngumba/Senufo Round lid of painted wood with palm bark rim. Attached guardian figure with body ornamentation of partly colored bone beads, copper and brass sheet and imposing feather attachment. One of the earlobes cracked. Slight shrinkage cracks, restored on the legs. Total height 80 cm. Comes with a concave wooden mask with embossed brass decoration. Somewhat bumped, small defects. Length approx. 53 cm. Condition: II - III
