A blolo bla figure and a weaving roll holder of the Baule at the Ivory Coast, 20th century Female figure standing frontally on a narrow plinth, carved in the round from dark wood. The body with deeply carved scarification marks, slightly fissured in places. Accompanied by a woven scroll holder traditionally crowned with a figure, with a beautiful glossy patina and a perforation in the upper end. Height 34 and 27 cm respectively. Condition: II
