A Swiss master's seal of the bag makers' guild, Zofingen, 16th century Small, deeply cut silver matrix with surrounding inscription "S. DER. MEIS. SCHAFT. Z. ZOFFINGEN" (= seal of the guild of Zofingen). Two belt pouches in the escutcheon indicate the bagmakers' guild. Two small cracks, otherwise good condition. Diameter 35 mm, weight 35 g. Provenance: British matrix collection David Morris. Condition: II
