14 painted iron and brass plaques (badges), some dated, 18th/19th century Eleven of iron, three of brass. Two fittings chased, one fitting finely engraved. The other fittings painted in polychrome. Most with depictions of saints. Some inscribed and dated: 1664, 1714 (two), 1723, 1759, 1774, 1847, each with drilled holes for attachment. Some with defects. Height 3.5 - 14.7 cm. Condition: II -

Einrissen sowie etw. knickspurig. Insgesamt sehr gut erhaltene, kreidig anmutende original-Lithographien. Geology - Mining and metallurgy - Collection of 7 orig. lithographs. Each on wove or laid paper. Each signed, numbered a. partly localised, mostly inscribed by another hand in pencil. 1 work mounted in dots under mat. - Numbered, one each of 50, 60 or 100 copies. - Depicted are various iron works such as Krupp Mannesmann, the Shamrock colliery in Herne, a blast furnace and a view of the Thyssen iron and steel works (Bruckhausen?). - 2 pp. with few pale brown spots in margins, some small tears in white margins and some creases. Overall very well preserved, chalky original lithographs.
