Georges Morin (1874 - 1950) - Dancer with Cymbals, German, 1st half of the 20th century Cast bronze sculpture, partly with a dark patina, of a dancer dressed in an airy tunic with small cymbals, descending a wide flight of steps. The left edge of the plinth signed "Morin". On a recessed marble base. Height 37 cm. Georges Morin (1874 - 1950) was a German painter, sculptor and medalist from Berlin. Fascinated by oriental dancers in Paris, where he was studying, they remained the artist's most popular motif throughout his career. Morin was also a member of the Berlin Association of Visual Artists and the Reich Association of Visual Artists. Condition: II +
