Six prehistoric and early historical beads including four Germanic beads from the 5th - early 6th century 1) Four black-ground Germanic glass beads from the Migration Period and early Merovingian period. Three of them with glass thread inlays. One with three white zigzag bands, one with a white zigzag band all around. One bead with crossed white wavy bands, with a red dot inside. One bead with a black background only. Diameter 2.3 - 3.7 cm. 2) Prehistoric amber bead of indeterminate date. Chipped on one side. Partially porous surface. Diameter 3.7 cm. 3) Prehistoric stone bead of indeterminate date. Diameter 3 cm. Provenance: Munich private collection, acquired in the 1990s in the southern German art trade. Condition: I - II
