Five replicas of various antiquities including two bronze swords and an East Asian ritual dagger 1) Two replicas of swords from the Urnfield period with brown patination. One sword of the Mörigen type. Length 51.2 cm. An antenna sword. Length 43.2 cm. Late 19th century. 2) Three cast copies, taken from antique originals. Including a Roman knife handle with an erotic ménage-à-trois, a Byzantine key and a Hallstatt ring. Length 6.6 - 6.9 cm, diameter 8.7 cm. 3) Also an East Asian ritual dagger made of bronze with a diamond-shaped blade and ribbed hilt without grip plates. Two rivets preserved. Green patina with light incrustations. The tip of the blade bent over. Length 28.7 cm. Provenance: From an old Belgian private collection, acquired in the Belgian art trade in the 1980s.
