Description
A Dacian curved knife (sica) made of iron, 1st century B.C. - 1st century A.D. Curved long knife with a fuller on the upper side directly below the spine. The cutting edge bends to the point at the front, the tapered tang with a rivet hole just before the blade. Excellent condition with burn patina, which has preserved the antique surface over a large area. A few rusty spots with iron oxides. Stable condition. Length 42.2 cm.
