Description

A Bronze Age belt, circa 800 B.C. Belt made of 92 segments (partly broken, modernly threaded). Four humps on each side, with grooved crossbars in between. The humps each with a pull-through. One end plate with three eyelets, the second, somewhat narrower one with two. Width 6.1 cm, length approx. 112 cm. Provenance: Old private collection. Condition: III
