Izambert, 1895-1898. 2 vol. in-folio (39 x 28.5 cm), contemporary bindings in havana half-chagrin, 5-rib spine with gilt fillet, gilt fleuron between the ribbons, gilt title, double gilt fillet on covers, marbled boards and endpapers, covers preserved: each vol. contains: title illustr.[2] ff.-[10] pp.-[1] f. + 20 captioned engraved plates, mounted on mitre. Modern illustrated bookplate. Small stains on binding of Vol. I, otherwise in good condition. Minor foxing on the text pages and in the margins of the plates, a little more pronounced on volume II (the last 8 plates are foxed, with minor damage to the engravings). The plates on volume II are very fresh. A very rare work, printed in an edition of 125 copies only, this one of 100 on Hollande, numbered and initialled by hand by the author (n°29 and n°39). The 2 volumes are enriched with an autograph from the author. The set includes 40 superb original etchings of houses, views and monuments in and around Louviers.
