In-8, bound in full black percaline, illustrated with a coldstamped decoration with a very beautiful composition in the center, composed of little girls and grimacing heads, blue, green, red and gold, bound in Haarlhaus plates, spine decorated with a large, full-length decoration of gilded and polychrome irons, large ornamented motif in gold and red on the second plate, gilt edges, woodcut frontispiece portrait of Charles Perraut, VIII-142 pp, 10 lithographs by Bataille, numerous vignettes in the text, bandeaux, lettrines, the titles of the tales are very well ornamented and signed. Pale foxing, in the text, marginal or on the white spine of the lithographs. Directly affecting only two vignettes. A very good copy.
