Maurice rostand (1891-1968). 4 autograph manuscripts (2 signed). Le Songe d'un soir de Noël, mystery, September [1934] (17pages in-4). Mystery in verse, dedicated to M. l'abbé Jager. This little piece features Le Poète, L'Étoile, Marie, Jésus, Joseph, the Magi, etc. - Édouard VIII, June 1937-June 1947 (61pages in-4). Eulogy written a few months after the abdication of the King of England (December 1936) and revised (final title, alterations, denouement), probably for a conference, ten years later. - Le Vice du siècle, novel, 1945 (69p. fol. notebook, defects). Draft of a novel left unfinished, set in the years preceding the First World War, and was to feature several young people, "a very elegant and wealthy foreigner who loves women", "an eccentric woman of the world", an "impersonating actor", an "extraordinary psychological writer, who may have genius", as well as an aviator, an aristocrat and "a Sapphic poetess". Etc. - L'Immortel, [1946] (22p. in-4, small tears to last ff.). Scenario in three parts, part fantasy tale, part medieval morality play... Enclosed is a receipt for deposit of the manuscript with the Association des Auteurs de films, September 24, 1946.
