POPE. Lorenzo Ganganelli, clement xiv (1705-1774) Pope in 1769, he suppressed the Jesuit order and founded the Vatican Museums. Handwritten bull in his name, Rome à Sainte-Marie-Majeure nones de juin (June 18) 1773; oblong vellum in-fol. (26 x 35.5 cm) with ornate initials and 4 initials in the first line (small holes in folds); seal missing; in Latin. Dispensation de consanguinité au 3e degré, en faveur du mariage de Jacques Durand et Marie Durand, demeurant au diocèse de Saint-Bertrand de Comminges (département actuel de Haute-Garonne). Chancery signatures.Attached is a manuscript writ in the name of PIE VI, Rome August 6, 1790 (oblong vellum in-fol.), dispensation for an ordination, with signature of Cardinal Romoaldo Braschi-Onesti (1753-1817).
