"Kistemaeckers would like to do an edition of La Fille Elisa in October, illustrated with ten etchings. As I am infinitely fond of your talent [...] I have asked him to entrust you with the illustration of this book"; he asks for his conditions "as exacting as possible"... Enclosed is a small l.a.s. from Jules de Goncourt, requesting that apostrophes and accents be restored in the feuille Louis XV enfant; and a carte de visite a.s. from Edmond to Edmond Cousturier (envelope), thanking him for an article (1888).
