Jean CARZOU (1907-2000) painter. L.A.S. with drawing, Paris November 24, 1948, to a friend; 2pages in-8 (binder holes). He would like to have the painting within the week: "My exhibition is coming up and the painting in question must be in it, not to mention that I have a few alterations to make. [...] It's a 20 P canvas in green"; and he draws the picture, depicting a nude female bust with an open window in the background.We enclose two postcards a.s. (1990) reproducing his works; and a page (21 x 15.5 cm) where, around a photograph of a Virgin and Child, Carzou has drawn a frame of foliage and masks (signed and dated 1990).
