Lens October 19, 1913, sending an article: "I can only congratulate you most sincerely on the fine campaign you are undertaking"... Châteauroux July 26, 1916, thanking you for "the very complimentary article you wrote in La Vie au grand air for my brother and me. [Châteauroux May 31, 1917, thanking him for his glowing articles about his brother; "if polemics and discussion cannot be fully opened up at present, they lose nothing by waiting, for the facts are proving every day to justify quite a few forecasts". He explains his refusal to publish photographs of "reconnaissances au-dessus ou au départ de "Châteauroux"...Attached is a L.A.S. to Jacques Mortane's widow, Lens September 29, 1966 (3p. in-8), lamenting Mortane's untimely death.
