L'attache du fourchon balustre. Une fourchette en acier gravée de volutes sur le fourchon, de vases Médicis et palmettes sur le manche à section aplatie. Light spotting else a very good copy of this extremely rare atlas, much sought-after for the quality of its engravings.

La tête amovible à la chevelure coiffée en un haut chignon à coques. H. 65 cm NOTE À la fin du XVIIe siècle, ces imposantes et élégantes figures en porcelaine blanche étaient particulièrement collectionnées et recherchées par les élites européennes. Ces objets de luxe incarnaient le goût de l'Occident pour la chinoiserie, trônant en bonne place dans les salons et cabinets chinois. On trouve ainsi des pièces similaires dans les collections d'Auguste le Fort à Dresde mais également au Sans-Souci à Potsdam. Une paire de statues très similaires dans les collections royales britanniques ( RCIN 58987) et illustrées dans AYERS John, «Chinese and Japanese Works of Art in the Collection of Her Majesty the Queen», vol. 1, London, 2016, cat. nos 37-42.
