To seduce her, Zeus transformed himself into a swan and, following their union, the Dioscuri, Castor and Pollux, were born from an egg. This intaglio recalls the neoclassical productions of Prince Poniatowski. Cameo 29 x 20 mm; setting 28 x 35 mm; 10.25 g A Large Neoclassical intaglio set in its original mounting. Leda and the Swan.
