Of course, the bodywork isn't perfect, and there are rare cases of rust perforation, notably on the left-hand pillar. The windscreen outline also needs to be redone, as does the inside of the hood and other more superficial elements. The rear bumper is a little recessed on the right. The engine is running, but the clutch needs changing (part supplied by Valéo). Restoration is obviously necessary, as the car has not been run for 10 years and everything needs to be checked. But don't forget you're looking at a BMW 315 e21 in that rare AlpinWeiss shade, with an even rarer 5-speed gearbox. The interior, even if the driver's seat needs to be completely redone and the bench seat corrected, looks good. The dashboard is slightly cracked, making it easily salvageable, unlike many others. Red morocco, smooth ornate spine, green mar. title page, triple gilt fillet framing the boards, gilt fleurons in spandrels, gilt edges (18th c. binding). Illustrated with 3 portraits and several in-text vignettes (rebuses and emblems). The first book of the Bigarrures appeared in Paris in 1585, and the first complete edition of the 5 parts also appeared in Paris with Richer in 1603. A fine Parisian edition of this strange collection, written by Tabourot at the age of eighteen, the first book devoted entirely to word games. It was in this work that the term contrepeterie was first used to designate what was previously known as antistrophe. Les Escraignes provides a first-rate account of popular reading.
