Each of the parts - lock, hammer, battery, basinet and spring head - is entirely worked with figures, including a mermaid, lions facing each other and foliage; the end of the lock is decorated in high relief with a mask with protruding eyebrows and nose. Spain, early 19th century. Small flintlock rifle, Miquelet lock. Cal. 16 mm approx. All metal parts with tobacco-colored patina and slight rust-blossom oxidation. Smooth damascus barrel, with brass rear sight and large two-hole sight. Miquelet-style flintlock lock. Cut steel fittings. Long-barreled walnut stock with fine checkering. Ball trigger. Steel nailhead ramrod. Mechanism partly functional, with two cocking notches, to be revised (the hammer does not hold the second cocking notch all the time). Inside of barrel dusty with minor surface oxidation. 84 cm (barrel 44 cm). (Needs cleaning. Fairly good condition).

Morocco, late 19th century. Long MOUKALA rifle. All metal parts with slight gray patina. Miquelet-type flintlock lock. Octagonal barrel, punched with a thunderbolt on an oblique side, then round, bearing a sight and rear sight, ending in a bead at the muzzle. Wooden stock with long shaft, the bone end decorated with arabesques and scrolls cut in brass and iron, the shaft with two steel bracelets and 15 silver plate bracelets chased with small decorations. Rod present. Mechanism not working. 161 cm (barrel 121 cm). (Wear and tear and minor accidents. Fairly good condition).
