Henri IV's wife is in court dress, wearing a very large tuyauté collar embellished with rich lace, her hair up, curled around the temples, held in place by a diadem; she wears a pearl in her ear, a pearl necklace and a cross on her chest. Inscription MARIA AVG[VSTA] GALLIAE ET NAVARRAE REGINA (Marie, august queen of France and Navarre). Signed G. DUPRE and dated 1615. R / Vessel flying a fleurdelisé flag, symbolizing the State, caught in a storm Marie de Médicis, represented as Cybèle, holds the helm and strives to save the ship where the members of the royal family are, represented as the main gods of Olympus.
