Rare double-face cameo in two layers of agate, white and beige, decorated on one face with an emperor's bust in high relief and on the other with the left profile of a man in a chased gold setting. The antique-style emperor's bust, draped in a toga, is depicted from the front, his short hair tied with a ribbon; the man's aquiline profile features short hair au naturel; the mounting is adorned with an undulating foliage frieze, foliage flanked at the top by a hinge with a pivoting ring, and at the bottom on either side by a sphere pierced by a threaded hole.
