Polylobed dish in polychrome painted enamel and enamel on paillons with gold highlights depicting in the hexagonal background the Virgin and Child accompanied by the inscription MARIA MATER / DEI. Wing decorated with flowers, foliage and birds on a white background; reverse with background depicting a village in a wooded landscape, surrounded by flowers, foliage and birds on a black background. Limoges, attributed to Jacques I Laudin, 17th century H. 4 cm - L. 17.5 cm (small accidents and restorations, edge missing) A very similar bowl bearing the monogram of Jacques I Laudin is in the Musée du Louvre (inv. MR2476).
