Standing and slightly swaying, the Virgin carries her Son on her left arm; her head is encircled by a very high crown of flowers enriched with cabochons, set on a half-length veil descending to her shoulders; friendly face framed by wavy hair; dress with embroidered neckline, tightened at the waist by a belt with rosette-adorned buckle, chain falling to the front and ending in a tassel; open cloak whose panels, held under the arms, form long, undulating falls; the Child dressed in a long tunic blesses with his right hand; panned terrace.
