A LOT WITH EIGHT ONKO POTTERY AND WOOD MASK NETSUKE A LOT WITH EIGHT ONKO POTTERY AND WOOD MASK NETSUKE Signed or with onko-yaki marks Japan, 19th to 20th century Comprising three wood masks, including two polychrome lacquered Hannya masks and a Shikami mask, and five Onko-yaki (clay) masks, including two demons with sharp teeth, each marked Sekisen, a menacing looking Noh mask with a Sekiho mark, and two hyottoko masks, the larger one with an Onko mark. HEIGHT 2.9 – 6 cm Condition: Good condition with minor wear, few nicks, light surface scratches, flaking to the lacquer, minuscule chips, and two ceramic masks with a repair to the chin and minor associated losses.
