In-folio full Constantinople red morocco, gilt edges, spine ribbed with a monogram in each entrenerf (E ? D), double framed with gilt fillets, monogram at the corner of each plate, 6 ff, 676 ff, 86 ff, 20 ff, 20 ff, 778 ff, 13 ff. Fine copper-engraved vignette repeated on each title, engraved portraits of Amyot and Plutarch, woodcut portraits in the text and ornate lettering. A fine copy printed on large ruled paper with wide margins, in a period binding (possibly attributed to Corberan). Slight blemish to margin of 3 ff. and dampstaining to margin of 5 ff. Minor restorations to binding, one headband worn, otherwise good overall condition.
