Italian Olympic Committee 'Romulus and Remus' Sculpture Impressive sculpture of the Capitoline Wolf with suckling twin founders of Rome, Romulus and Remus, set upon a marble base, measuring to an overall size of 5″ x 5″ x 2.5″. Plaque to the front base bears the Olympic rings and “C. O. N. I.,” and the reverse of the sculpture is engraved, “A. S.” and “Italy.” In fine condition, with an unobtrusive crack to the right side of the marble. This design was famously used as the official emblem of the Rome 1960 Summer Olympics.

Fiorentini of Florence was inspired by an Etruscan bronze statue, "The She-wolf of the Capitol", with the children Remus and Romulus, who were to found Rome. There are 12,000 badges available in 66 models (CIO, Ufficiale, Servizio, etc.). Ours is one of the rarest: with its red "Atleta" cartouche. 1000 copies or less, because its color is also close to orange (even rarer). 4.8 x 3.8 cm

Casacón scene set in the 17th and 18th centuries in which three characters share a dinner and a toast with the cardinal, in a palatial interior typical of the time. Signed in the lower left margin: Pablo Salinas, Rome. Measurements without frame: 55 x 41 cm. Framed measurements: 74 x 60 cm.
