MIOSHE - Antoine MARTINET, born 1984 Dalc'h peg Plogon, 2024 Acrylic painting on stoneware jar, dated and signed below. Height 38.5 - Diameter 19 cm --- MIOSHE - Antoine MARTINET, born 1984 Antoine Martinet, aka Mioshe, stands at the crossroads between the "academic" world, the tradition of art history and painting, and a more "urban" culture through his work as a muralist. His works make reference to ancient art while dealing with major contem porary subjects. Through various media, Mioshe tackles subjects that trouble us: man and his relationship with nature, the Anthropocene and ecology, relationships of domination in society and zones to be defended. Following her cartographic work on the floor of the Musée de Bretagne, the artist wishes to continue this work on the resistance movements of yesterday and today that have forged Brittany's uniqueness. Sensitive to the forms of freedom in society within the Breton free party community, Mioshe, in love with the territory, likes to tell its story through its landscapes, its encounters and its various forms of civil disobedience. Zones to defend form the graphic terrain of the works the artist has created for the Ar Seiz Avel auction exhibition. The first work on offer, Mega-bassines, is a jar painted in support of the protests in Sainte-Soline linked to the privatization of the water supply in October 2022. The second, Des pierre contre des fusils, is borrowed from Nicole Le Garrec's documentary film and pays tribute to the anti-nuclear struggle at Plogoff between 1974 and 1981. Finally, Mioshe presents the tapestry Hétérotopies, woven in Aubusson digital stitch by the Néolice Robert Four workshop. This large-scale ecological frieze recounts the clash of civilizations like a naïve tale. The work takes its name from Michel Foucault's essay defining heterotopia as a multitude of imaginary spaces anchored in reality, a physical localization of utopia.

Solen MALRIEU, born 1991 An Tremen N°3, detail of façade with Bigouden rose window,Atelier Aorin - Landévennec - 2024 Paper print after lavactorization of a digital 3D model. Unique piece. An edition of the project is included. 30 x 30 cm An Tremen, architectural project for a Breton ceremony hall in the Bigouden region. Contemporary cottage inspired by traditional Breton buildings and crafts. The "An Tremen" project is a conceptual project for a monk's cereal room, located along the Bay of Audierne. This project proposes a different type of ceremony space, not just dedicated to secular mortuary funerals, nor just a secular wedding hall. This space is inspired by religious places such as chapels and churches, which welcome the significant events of each stage of life, understanding them as a whole, a common thread where each moment (arrival, union, departure...) has its place. In this way, we pay our last respects to a loved one, in a beautiful setting, where that same person has shared our joy at a new arrival in the family, or at a union. "An Tremen" means "The Passage" in Breton, so it represents the passage of the various milestones that make up our lives. This place is open to all, with respect for everyone's beliefs. "An Tremen" offers a space for collective celebration, rooted in and inspired by the territory in which it is integrated, that of Brittany and more particularly that of the Bigouden region. It draws its inspiration from traditional architecture, nature, craftsmanship and motifs. In the manner of the Seiz Breur, this project offers a new vision of Breton vernacular architecture, adapting to the constraints and issues of our time. --- Solen MALRIEU, born 1991 Born in Pays Bigouden, Solen Malrieu is an interior architect and designer, passionate about the diversity of cultures and what makes them unique. It was her parents who passed on to her this curiosity and love for folk arts and traditions. Both are dedicated to the promotion and preservation of Breton heritage, in particular the tradition of singing and storytelling in Brittany within the Dastum association. Her personal aspirations led her to study interior design and architecture at the Ecole de Design Nantes Atlantique, followed by a master's degree in design and interculturality in India, again at the same school, from which she graduated in 2014. In India, she works for the architectural firm Studio Lotus and the Indian National Trust for Art and Cultural Heritage. In 2016, she continued her work with the K-Studio agency in Greece. She returned to Brittany in 2019, where she worked until the end of 2023 for the In and Out architecture agency. In 2024, she founded the interior design and architecture agency Aorin. The agency specializes in ecological renovations and small-scale construction, as well as the rehabilitation of old buildings, for private individuals, businesses and third-party venues. The name Aorin is inspired by the Breton a orin (originating from), with the idea of creating spaces that forge a strong link with the context in which they are set, and thus draw inspiration from the cultural and natural heritage to his projects.
