Félix BRACQUEMOND (1833-1914) painter and Eugène ROUSSEAU (1827-1891) publisher: 4 plates decorated with flowers or birds in earthenware from the Creil & Montereau factory (one with slightly different gilding of the marli). Marked LM et Cie and E Rousseau on reverse. France, late 19th century. Diam. 25.5 cm. Minor wear. Note: a variant of the "Rousseau" dinner service. The "à crête" series in the Musée d'Orsay features the same plate model, but without the gilding highlights as here.
