One volume. 32 by 23.8 cm (Italian format). 24 unnumbered leaves. Illustrated publisher's boards, in mint condition (one tiny flaw at one corner). Complete with illustrated dust jacket (edges of jacket chipped). Perfect condition inside. Musical score and 7 color lithographs preceded by illustrated title. Illustrated cover and dust jacket. Title lettering, inner flyleaf decoration, stamps and fleurons by George Auriol. Georges Fragerolle (1854-1920) was a French composer who set Gabriel Vicaire's Noël Bressan to music, among other works. Henri RIVIERE (1864-1951) was a painter and engraver. Between 1886 and 1897, he created color shadow-theater projections at the Chat Noir cabaret. Using this technique, he published works such as Le Juif errant, illustrating the musical scores presented at the Chat noir.
