Two gulzar calligraphies signed Mohammad Taqî al-Hamadânî, Pahlavi Iran, 1951 and 1952 Calligraphies on paper in black gulzar ink, with the letters trimmed with illuminated flowers, in reserve on a gilded background with polychrome painted florets. The first gives an extract from a Hadith ("'Ali is the best of human beings, so whoever disagrees has not believed"), the second a succession of Islamic holy names, Allah, Mohammad, 'Alî, Fâtima, Hassan and Hossein. Both signed Mohammad Taqî al-Hamadânî and dated, one 1371 H / 1951, the other 1372 H / 1952. Both mounted as album pages on cardboard with a salmon border and a wide sky-blue margin powdered with gold.
