Mohajer Fath 'Alî Shîrâzî, known as Hejâb Shîrâzî, was not only a poet but also one of the greatest masters of nasta'liq calligraphy of the qâjâr period, having trained under Mirzâ Kuchak Vesâl. Among his most important works are copies of Molavi's Masnavi, Jâmî's Lavâyeh and Sharaf ed-Dîn Qazvînî's Târikh-e Mo'jam, now in the Golestân Palace Museum in Tehran.
