Prayer book, Iran qâjâr, 1280 H /1863 Manuscript on paper with 16 lines per page in naskhi Arabic and some sections in Persian nasta'liq in black ink, the titles, some signs and characters in red ink. Sarlow frontispiece illuminated in gold and polychrome with lambrequins surmounting a cartouche giving the name of the Sura Ya-Sin, the following text in reserve on a gilded background. Several illuminated titles and a few lines of poetry in two columns at the end of the book. Colophon illuminated with text in reserve on a gold background giving the name of the copyist Mohsen ibn Muhammad Sharîf at-Tabrîzî, and the date of 20 Jumada I 1280 H / November 2, 1863.
