In-plano, monumental work (61 x 40 cm) containing Picasso's 42 preliminary studies for Guernica reproduced in facsimile on paper from the Prado Museum, mounted on 31 strongboard boards. Text booklet commenting on each drawing, in French by Marie-Laure Bernadac, curator of the Musée Picasso, translated into English by Jean-Marie Clarke. Limited edition of 1937 numbered copies, this one no. 706. Full blue cloth publisher's slipcase, illustrated on the first cover with a color composition by Picasso. (text booklet rubbed, rubbing and stains to slipcase and reinforcement to one corner). Expert: Mr. Nicolas Asvisio.
