A RARE VENOM-TUNED .177 FEINWERKBAU 124 SPORT BREAK-BARREL AIR-RIFLE, serial no. 24210, circa 1980, with 18 1/4in. blued barrel, ribbed muzzle-protector fitted in lieu of fore-sight, rear-sight absent, blued air-chamber retaining 'VENOM' decal (gilded name rubbed away but wording legible), machined telescopic sight grooves, push-pull safe to rear, beech half-stock with chequered grip and factory swivel with Q/D stud to rear, much original finish remaining throughout.

EX WEBLEY COLLECTION A .22 PROTOTYPE WEBLEY & SCOTT OMEGA BREAK-BARREL GAS-RAM AIR-RIFLE, serial no. 783251, circa 1987, with blued 19 1/4in. barrel, tunnel fore-sight, adjustable alloy rear-sight, manual breech locking catch, blued air-chamber with Theoben System internals, machined rails for a telescopic sight and marked 'WEBLEY OMEGA' on the left rear side, blued end-cap with no provision for safety catch and central adjustment screw, production beech half-stock with factory modified cocking-slot, early-style ribbed trigger blade and rear sling-swivel only.

[RUSSIA] Special geometric plan of the Bogoslovsky and Petropavlovsky copper mining and smelting plants, Perm general government, Verkhotour district, owned by the Pokhodiachine industrialists. Traced March 9, 1795. Monumental handwritten map on paper, ink and watercolor, in two sheets consisting of several sections mounted on canvas. Our copy is a copy dated November 1869, marked "copie de copie", signed Yakov Aprelev and others, of an original map drawn in 1795. It depicts the land and a copper-mining plant located along the banks of the Sosva River in the eastern foothills of the Urals. It features watercourses and paths, small lakes, marshy areas and a plan of the factory next to a reservoir. The relief is marked by drop shadows. It includes a "scale for English plan". Some handwritten annotations on the back and stamp of Semion LEPECHKINE & Frère. Each sheet approx. 400 x 500 cm. (Corned edges, some parts detached and torn at the folds due to their large size). In the 18th century, the Pokhodiachine family were known as wealthy blacksmiths who owned the Touria copper mines. In 1791, the family's businesses came under the control of the Bank of Assignats.
