Louis OURY (1867 - 1940): Nude draped woman holding two caricature masks Yellow gold (750/1000) necklace, signed. Art Nouveau. Weight : 74.35g. Height : 6.5cm This extraordinary necklace by Louis Oury, Marcel-Lenoir's elder brother, is the only piece of jewelry miraculously resurrected, and an example of his jewelry creations at the heart of Symbolism and Art Nouveau, circa 1890-1900. It resonates with the drawings and jewelry projects acquired by the Musée Marcel-Lenoir, and will be included in the inventory of Louis Oury's works, including jewelry, undertaken by the Musée Marcel-Lenoir since 2013 and the publication of the monograph dedicated to Louis Oury.
