CARCO (Francis) - Envoûtement de Paris. Paris, Grasset, 1938; in-8, 80 pp. + 112 plates, bound in plum half-chagrin with corners, spine decorated with 3 nerves, gilt head, cover preserved. Illustrated with 112 photographs by René-Jacques. Sent by the author with a small self-portrait. Francis Carco, of Corsican origin, whose real name was François Carcopino-Tusoli, was born in Nouméa in 1886 and died in Paris in 1958. He also used the pseudonym Jean d'Aiguières. He frequented Montmartre and was a friend of Roland Dorgelès and Pierre Mac Orlan. Consultant : Mr. Philippe HENRY
