Head of the collection of the Procès-verbaux de l'Assemblée nationale published by Baudouin, the printer of the Assemblée nationale. (Tourneux, n°448.) It contains the first 125 issues, from n°1 (session of June 17, 1789) to n°124 (November 13, 1789), plus n°40 bis. In all, 782 issues were published. In addition to the issue containing the minutes themselves, subscribers also received a large number of appendices which formed part of the deliveries; our copy contains a few of these: the Séance tenue par le Roi aux États-Généraux on June 23, 1789, the Projet de constitution des droits de l'homme et du citoyen by Abbé Sieyes, the Déclaration des droits de l'homme et du citoyen by Mounier, the Déclaration des droits de l'homme en société by Abbé Sieyes, the Opinion de l'abbé Grégoire sur la sanction royale, etc. Two appendices inserted in Volume V are in facsimile.
