All 3 volumes. 3 volumes bound in 2. Ex-libris Sigismond ancien comte de Salm et Reifferschein. Isaac de Larrey (1639-1719), a Protestant, went into exile in Holland after the revocation of the Edict of Nantes, in order to freely exercise his religious beliefs. His historical works earned him the title of historiographer to the Estates General. Shortly afterwards, the Elector of Brandenburg offered Larrey the title of Conseiller de Cour et d'Ambassade, luring him to Berlin, where he died on March 17, 1719. Consultant: Mr. Philippe HENRY
