Description
A blackened wood veneer cabinet with two drawers at the top and bottom, and two central panels revealing four interior layettes, each featuring a mirror painted with courtly scenes in gilded frames. The reverse of the leaves is itself adorned with a figure on glass. Gilded metal ornaments, notably on the lock escutcheons. Three keys. Lateral handles. 17th century. Two accidents and chips to the veneer, one leaf frieze broken but present, one rod missing from the base. H_38,5 L_28 W_18 cm
