Naval medical officer 2nd class and painter from the École française des peintres voyageurs. - Schooner Sainte Marie - Tamatave (Madagascar). - Dahabieh in charge - Alexandria (Egypt). Reunion of two graphite pencil sketches on paper, monnogrammed "F.B.", titled, located and dated respectively "Tamatave 6/2/31" and "Alex. 11 juin 32" in pencil in the upper corners. Mounted under marie-louise. Dimensions: 22.3x17 cm ; 17.5x22.8 cm. (Small folds and tears).
