Rare gilded and repoussé copper wedding bowl decorated with six medallions alternating two coats of arms, one with a silver fess accompanied by three crescents 2 and 1, and the other half divided, in 1 [...] with chains in orle, cross and saltire, and in 2 [...] with three bends; scroll ending with a trefoil in the spandrels. The blazon. mi-parti, en 1 [...]aux chaînes posées en orle, en croix et en sautoir, et en 2 [...] à trois bandes could also be read mi-parti, en 1 [...]aux chaînes posées en orle, en croix et en sautoir, et en 2 [...] à the bend flanked by two double cotices potentate and counter-potent, which could refer to the arms of the Navarre family of the House of Champagne, which used this coat of arms between 1234 and 1305.
